Outdoor Netball/Weather/MatchCancellation Policy + Procedure

If the weather is hot or if rain falls during a match we would ask thatall players please moderate their game play accordingly 

During exams in spring/summer some of our matches will be outdoors – rain or heat doesn’t automatically mean match cancellations. In the run up to match days and on match days themselves we monitor the weather at our venues very carefully via BBC, Accuweather and local radio, and are in contact with the venues themselves PLUS friends in the locality for weather updates. Here's how things work...

Team Organisers are sent a Whatsapp Group message informing them of the cancellation by 5pm. The Team Organiser should then communicate with their team. These matches will be rescheduled at the end of the season where possible.

If more than half match has been played:

The score stands as the final result + Full Match Fees and Umpire Fees apply.

If less than half match has been played:

Netball Fun League will contact via Text/WhatsApp/Phone, informing about the cancellation for any remaining matches on the evening, and those matches will be aim to be rescheduled at the end of the season if possible.
