Absolutely not! Our coaches will gently ease you into Netball again. You’ll re-learn all the fundamentals, passing, footwork, a few key rules etc
Don’t worry, our coach will start every session with gentle “warm ups” and of course you can absolutely “go at your own pace” throughout 🙂
Just need to wear what is comfortable for you to move around and play in… T-shirt, leggings, trainers etc. In netball, whether Back2Netball or Match Play, we do ask that all jewellery is removed, your fingernails are short (example: turn your palm to face you – make sure your nails are not visible over your fingertips, and nails are smooth), if you wear a wedding band and it cannot be removed – please tape it up.
No just yourself and of course a nice big bottle of water for refreshment!
Minimum age to start would be 14+ (but parents/guardian would have to sign a parental consent form and would have to be present at all sessions – would be best to contact us click here prior to booking any Back2Netball Sessions) there is no top age limit, that of course is up to how you feel etc.
Our Back2Netball sessions are six weeks in duration. A six week block costs £42. Don’t worry you don’t have to attend all if you cannot make it (once purchased tickets are not transferable)
All Back2Netball sessions last typically One and half hours.
During our sessions we would start to put people that are interested in carrying on after the session block has finished, into teams. Once the Back2Netball block is over we would have a mini-league. This means proper team “match play” against each other. Matches are 3 thirds of 13 minutes with break in between. During the matches our coaches and umpires are always on hand helping, giving extra advice etc.
Once the mini league is over we would endeavour to get teams playing in a suitable local league and/or getting individuals into an existing team.
